What's your process?
Once you've inquired, I will touch base with you within 24 hours to confirm your session based on the date and location you've inquired about. You will then sign your photography contract which includes a short little questionnaire and info about the location and then pay your deposit invoice. After your session deposit is paid you will then have the option to discuss your wardrobe and ask me any questions you have about styling and what works best with the specific location you chose. I also have a client closet for mamas and girls to help you feel as little stress about what to wear as possible!
•Your remaining session balance will be due one week prior to your session date.
What should we wear?
Family photos are a beautiful time to tell the story that is your life together. You want that “This is Us” moment when you’re viewing them for the first time, hanging them on your wall and sharing them. The last thing you want is to be stressed about how everyone looks and how on earth you are going to do it! For the mamas and girls- I have a gorgeous collection of rompers and dresses in all different sizes that you can choose from before our session if you're wanting to borrow something. I also have an awesome highlight on my instagram with ideas for the whole family on what to wear or you can simply select Style Guide from the website menu above.
The simplest way to answer this question is this:
Wear textures and warm earthy colors that compliment each other without matching. Focus on comfort and your personal style. Don't wear stilettos for the first time because you saw someone else do it. Be you!
How many photos do we get?
All of them!
Ok. Sometimes I remove the ones with your eyes closed or the ones of your 4 year old right after he fell down and scraped his knee. But you will receive all of the good photos edited and on an online gallery.
What happens if I have to cancel?
Your session fee is non-refundable but it is transferable to sickness and/or weather. If you can not make your session happen within one year of your session date you will have to rebook and pay a new session fee.
What if there is bad weather?
Your session will be rescheduled for rain, storms and sometimes if the sky is too overcast. We will reschedule as many times as we need to since the weather is totally out of our control.
How do we get our photos?
Your photos will be delivered to you via an email link that will take you to my online gallery. From there you will be able to favorite, download, and share to social media.
Do you retouch photos?
All of the photos will be edited for lighting and simple scratches on your kids faces or some acne will be removed but extra retouching will need to be specifically asked for.
I will not change your body type or natural face shape even when asked.
Whats your turn around time?
For most shoots, the answer is 2 weeks from our session date. For mini sessions, I usually get them done in 1 week and for weddings or special touchups, 1 month. Every client always receives a few sneak peeks within 24 hours of our session to get them excited for the full gallery.
How do we book you?
However you're comfortable. You can reach me on my contact page, on instagram, or shoot me a text! Just don't call me unless you want 4 children in your ear along with me.
